Material takeoff

The material takeoff comes from Tekla's own reports, run on the model you are detailing. Tekla holds the real parts, with their marks, lengths, cuts and weights, so its material list is the one to send.

1. Open the Structure panel and click World.
2. At the bottom, under Tekla's reports, pick a material-list template.
3. Choose what to report on, and run it.
